Rydal Hall Estate is unique, with en-suite bedrooms, campsite, cottages and gardens set in 30 acres. The Old School Room Tea Shop serves a good selection of light refreshments including soup, sandwiches, and homemade cakes. Caters most often to Christian conferences etc. and is not your run of the mill hotel as a result!
A** Fire test **is every **Monday **at **10.30am** - You **must vacate** the building by the nearest fire exit. Any other time it is real fire evacuation - the fire assembly point is located at the bottom car park.

Uniform Requirements:
[[Chef]]: Chef whites, non-slip shoes.
[[Housekeeping AND General Assistant AND Front of House]]: Clean, comfy, smart, plain, black. No leggings, tracksuits or trainers. No brand names.
Front of House: Black trousers and a black shirt (polo shirt is fine or short sleeve - teashop is quite hot).

Parking Instructions:
Parking within the hall grounds (accessed via the top gate up the lane from the church). If no spaces immediately outside they can use the overflow carpark if they get stuck they can just ask the reception team.
Lunch Information:
Staff lunch is provided for their team and we can be included, but I would recommend taking food in case the meal isn't to your liking etc.

Access by Train:
Northern Rail service to Windermere- the 555 to Keswick stops outside the station. Choice of 555 and 599 buses are close by.
Access by Bus:
There is a bus stop at Rydal Church where you will see a signpost for Rydal Hall. There are signposts for the cafe once inside the grounds.
